The Ladies At Rustic Leopard Focus On
Taking Care of Their Customers, Having Fun and Offering Lots of Bling

Amy, the owner of The Rustic Leopard, and her husband of 31 years, Frank, have both been entreprenuers since the young age of 19. They were both drawn to the freedom of being their own boss and were in sync when it came to being very involved in their business and providing outstanding customer service. Amy helped Frank with his flooring business while raising their two boys, Tyler who now lives in Dallas and Anthony who joined the family business in Borger with Frank. Once the boys had grown up, Amy decided to open her first boutique, Amy Lynn’s, in 2005. When 2012 came around, Amy was ready for a change so she decided to close her boutique and travel to roadshows with her mom Cathy. They each had their own truck and trailer with Amy specializing in clothing and accessories and Cathy carrying metal art and home decor. The two ladies traveled to various Vintage Market Day Shows back to back all over the United States and would sometimes be gone two weeks at a time.

By 2016, the ladies were ready to slow things down and decided to open The Rustic Leopard at 1944 Civic Circle in Wolflin Square. The Rustic Leopard carries clothing from small to 3X and they describe their style as trendy, boho, western chic and eclectic. The price point at Rustic Leopard is also very affordable which makes it easy to try new trends and styles and not have to spend a lot of money. Amy says, “Our prices make the clothes what I like to call ‘disposable’. I get bored with clothes, I wear it a couple of times and I’m bored.” According to Amy the most popular sellers right now are serape, leopard, neon, mixed prints, cactus, snake skin and their t-shirt bar is always popular.

One thing you will notice when you watch one of their weekly Facebook Lives is they like to have fun! Amy said, “We love to be fun, we love to visit with our customers and we love customer service. You just can’t get that these days. We want you to pull up, come in, have fun and get on with your day.” Speaking of fun, they have a headless mannequin named Becky and a diamond encrusted toothy Hog’s head named Matilda that customers love to take selfies with. Don’t laugh...Matilda was featured in the Wichita Kansas City Newspaper.

When speaking with the ladies, you can tell that customer service is the cornerstone of their boutique. Amy explains, “There’s so many places you go that don’t take time with their customers. I care because this is my business and I want them to be happy and I want them to look good.” Cathy agreed by saying, “We have so many customers that just love to come by and chit chat about their day. We hear about good and bad days from husbands dying to grandbabies being born.”

Beyond clothes, Rustic Leopard also carries shoes, jewelry, purses, metal art, home decor, sheets, car fresheners, gift items and much more! Some of the brand names they carry are Crazy Train, L&B, Keren Hart, Hoop Nation by Alexis Waters and Mad Dash Mix. The Rustic Leopard also has all of their inventory available on their website at All website orders are shipped out the same day or you can select to pick up your goodies from the store. Cathy keeps the website running and the ladies try to use themselves as models so people can see what everything looks like on “real women”. Amy explains, “We’ve learned that if we take pictures of ourselves in the outfits, they sell better and faster. Because everyone knows our height and weight and how we look.”

You will never be bored at the Rustic Leopard. They receive new items daily and they rearrange the store continuously to spotlight new items. As the ladies continuously add new items, they’ve been busting out at the seams at their current location so they are super excited to announce they will be MOVING SOON! Their current location is 1370 sq ft and their new location will be 2500 sq ft of retail therapy! They will be moving to 2806 Duniven Circle and hope to be open with new fall items around the second week of August. So be watching their Facebook page for new announcements and updates.

When asked what her favorite thing about having her own boutique is, Amy replied, “I love the customers and I love getting them out of their box. That’s my favorite thing, to get them to try one new thing. And I always tell them ‘I’m gonna get you more next time’.” So no matter what your age or shape and size it, the ladies at Rustic Leopard will welcome you in, treat you right and send you home a little more sparkly. And don’t forget to like them on Facebook and follow them on Instagram for updated cuteness!
