Texas Ivy Antiques is a local, family owned business that has been on our historic Route 66 (6th Street) since 1997. Willis Carroll owned Carroll’s Auto sales at 3313 SW 6th, now the home of Moe Dogs. In 1987 he purchased the home next to his car lot, where Texas Ivy currently resides, for his wife to bask in her love of all things antique.
The house itself was built in 1921 and is listed as contributing on the National Historic Register. In 2004, daughters Dora Meroney and Linda Kelley took over the antique store and continue the tradition of bringing unique, antiques to Amarillo.
They have a large selection of EAPC Glass, black Tiara glass, collector plates, blue glass, Spode, Japan, Occupied Japan, Franciscan, Anchor Hocking Ruby Red & pick up pieces for many other patterns. They also have aprons & linens of all kinds, also vintage hats & gloves. And a variety of furniture and garden items.
Stop by Texas Ivy Antiques and get your picture taken in front of the Route 66 Wall of Ivy and check out their home of antiques. They are West of the rest & one of the best!
